Descripción

Celosia 'Cramer's Series' (Celosia argentea var. cristata), developed by cut flower pioneer Ralph Cramer, is an iconic open-pollinated heirloom series celebrated for its prolific productivity, striking colors, and versatile stem quality. Growing into branching, heavy-yielding plants 30 to 36 inches tall, it produces abundant stems topped with compact, velvety brain-crested heads with distinct textured, feather-like sprouts crowning the tops. Available in distinct color strains including Burgundy, Rose, Yellow, Pink, and Amazon maroon, Cramer's Celosia is engineered for field cut flower production and dried botanical work. Its unique sprouted comb structures add dramatic textural interest, rich color saturation, and classic cottage garden charm to fresh bouquets and everlasting floral arrangements.
