Descripción
Celosia 'Flamingo Series' (Celosia argentea var. spicata), an open-pollinated specialty cut flower classic, is celebrated for its slender, feathery flower spires that resemble glowing flamingo plumes. Growing into branching, heavy-yielding plants 28 to 40 inches tall, it produces abundant stems topped with wheat-like floral spikes in distinct soft pastel shades, including Flamingo Feather (silvery rose-pink aging to blush white) and Flamingo Purple (vivid magenta-violet). Highly prized by floral designers for adding airy movement and rustic texture, the Flamingo series yields exceptional fresh cut stems, dries beautifully for everlasting arrangements, and provides long-lasting color in high-density flower beds throughout late summer and autumn.
