Good to know

Exceptionally fast grower (matures in under 30 days), making it ideal for quick succession planting and early spring harvests
Milder, sweeter, and juicier than traditional red radishes, appealing to those who dislike sharp bitterness
Excellent companion plant—ideal for mixing with slow-germinating seeds (like carrots or parsnips) to mark rows and break up soil

Quick to bolt and turn pithy or overly pungent if left in the ground during intense midsummer heat spells
Must be harvested promptly when roots reach 4 to 6 inches for peak crispness and flavor
