Descripción

Una calabaza tradicional italiana que produce un calabacín largo, cilíndrico, de color verde oscuro con rayas de color verde claro. Su pulpa firme es de color crema y verde claro. Es atractiva tanto en la planta como en el plato. Produce abundantemente, por lo que se debe cosechar a menudo cuando la calabaza tiene entre 25 y 30 cm (10 y 12 pulgadas). La cosecha estimula la producción. La flor de calabaza también es comestible y constituye una atractiva guarnición.
