Creeping Campanula (Campanula poscharskyana), commonly known as Serbian Bellflower, is a hardy open-pollinated perennial groundcover highly valued for its vigorous spreading habit and abundant floral display. Growing into low, dense mats reaching 6 to 9 inches in height, it cascades gracefully over stone walls, garden borders, and raised edges. From early summer through mid-autumn, the plants are covered in dozens of small, star-shaped, lavender-blue blossoms. Highly adaptable, drought-tolerant once established, and cold-hardy down to Zone 3, Creeping Campanula provides continuous color, effective weed suppression, and steady nectar for native bees and butterflies.
