Description
Celosia 'Bar Bora' (Celosia argentea var. cristata), bred by Evanthia, is a high-performance professional cut flower cultivar celebrated for its large, densely brain-crested flower heads and striking rich purple color. Developing sturdy, unbranched single stems reaching 30 to 40 inches in height, it produces broad, velvety cockscomb heads in a vivid, saturated violet-purple hue. Engineered specifically for commercial greenhouse, high tunnel, and field production, the Bar Bora series features excellent stem rigidity, high uniformity, and outstanding post-harvest vase life. Its bold, tactile comb structures add dramatic texture, deep jewel-toned color, and long-lasting elegance to fresh floral arrangements and dried botanical designs.
