    Description

Cucumber Boston Pickling (Cucumis sativus) is an iconic, historic heirloom variety dating back to 1877, celebrated as the gold standard for home pickling. Producing high yields of smooth, bright green, slightly blunt-ended fruits, it is best harvested at 3 to 5 inches for crisp, crunchy pickles. Featuring thin skin, firm solid flesh, and very small seed cavities, it absorbs brines and vinegars exceptionally well, making it the premier choice for making homemade dill pickles, sweet bread-and-butter slices, and fresh summer spears.
