Description
Lettuce Gustav's Salad (Lactuca sativa) is a cherished Dutch heirloom butterhead variety renowned for its reliable performance in cool conditions and tender, succulent leaves. Producing medium-sized, tightly folded heads with thick, smooth, bright apple-green foliage, it features a creamy, blanched heart at its center. Delivering a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth texture and a sweet, buttery, non-bitter flavor, Gustav's Salad excels in spring and autumn production and holds up remarkably well against sudden cold snaps, making it an essential choice for fresh gourmet salads, wraps, and succession gardening.
