Cocozelle Striped Zucchini (Cucurbita pepo), also known as Cocozella di Napoli, is a historic Italian heirloom summer squash prized for its beautiful dark green skin featuring striking light green stripes. Producing long, cylindrical fruits that remain tender, sweet, and nutty even when larger than standard zucchinis, it features a firmer texture and lower water content than typical green varieties. Extremely productive on compact, bush-type plants, it is outstanding for fresh slicing, grilling, stuffing, pan-frying, or baking.
