Climbing French Pole Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) An excellent fresh eating bean that dates back to the early 1800's. Extremely delicious when picked young and tender. Plants are vine-like, resembling small lilac shoots with accompanying flowers. Sweet and flavourful off the vine.
