Shipping & Delivery Policy
We want to get your order to you as quickly and affordably as possible. To give you the most flexibility, we offer two distinct ways to receive your goods. Please review these options carefully to choose the one that best fits your needs.
1. Economy Shipping (Oversized Lettermail)
For those looking to save on costs, we offer Standard Shipping via Canada Post Oversized Lettermail. This is a budget-friendly way to ship smaller, flatter items.

No Tracking: This method does not include a tracking number. We cannot provide updates on its location once it leaves our hands.

No Insurance: Items sent via Lettermail are not insured.

Risk Acknowledgement: By selecting this option, the buyer accepts all responsibility for the package. We do not offer refunds, replacements, or credits for items that are lost in transit or arrive damaged. Because this service is untracked, we are unable to file claims with Canada Post on your behalf.
Why choose this? It’s the most economical way to ship. It is perfect for low-value items where you feel comfortable taking a small risk to save on shipping fees.
2. Tracked Parcel Delivery
If you prefer peace of mind, we recommend selecting a Parcel option at checkout. These rates are automatically calculated based on your location and the weight of your order.

Real-Time Tracking: You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships, allowing you to follow its journey to your door.

Insurance Included: All parcel options come with standard carrier insurance. In the rare event that your package is lost or arrives damaged, we can initiate a claim for you.

Flexible Options: At checkout, you can choose from various speeds (Expedited, Xpresspost, etc.) to suit your timeline.
Order Processing Times
Regardless of the shipping method chosen, please allow 1-3 business days for us to pack and prepare your order. You will receive an email notification the moment your package is dispatched.
Shipping Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an insufficient address, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs to resend the item.
Damaged or Lost Items

For Lettermail: As noted above, we cannot offer assistance for lost or damaged Lettermail.

For Parcels: If your tracked parcel arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging and the item immediately and contact us at info@grandseeds.ca within 48 hours of delivery so we can begin the claims process.
