Le michihili est un type de chou chinois connu pour ses feuilles tendres, sa saveur sucrée et sa polyvalence en cuisine :
Le Michihili a une tête cylindrique avec des feuilles denses et étroites qui sont vert clair à l'intérieur et vert plus foncé à l'extérieur. Les têtes peuvent atteindre jusqu'à 17 pouces de hauteur et peser jusqu'à 5 livres.
Le michihili a une saveur plus forte que les autres choux et un goût légèrement épicé.
Le michihili peut être consommé cru en salade ou en salade de chou, cuit à la vapeur, sauté, braisé ou mariné. C'est également un ingrédient courant du kimchi.
