Description
Celosia 'Pampas Plume' (Celosia argentea var. plumosa), a celebrated open-pollinated heirloom series, is famous for its towering, feathery flower plumes that closely resemble miniature pampas grass. Growing on multi-branched, heavy-yielding plants reaching 30 to 48 inches in height, it produces abundant silky, flame-like plumes in warm pastel and jewel-toned shades of crimson, scarlet, orange, yellow, and creamy copper-pink. Exceptional for field cut flower production and cottage garden landscapes, Pampas Plume yields soft, airy stems that add dramatic height, fine textural movement, and rich color to fresh bouquets as well as dried botanical arrangements.
