Helichrysum bracteatum (syn. Xerochrysum bracteatum), commonly known as Strawflower or Everlasting Flower, is a classic heirloom prized for its large, papery, stiff-petaled blossoms that look and feel like dried straw while still growing on the plant. The King Size Formula Mix reaches impressive heights of 36 to 40 inches on sturdy, rigid stems topped with 2- to 2.5-inch double blooms. The vibrant color mix includes shades of glowing white, bright yellow, warm orange, crimson-red, deep purple, and rose-pink. Thriving in heat and full sun, Strawflower provides brilliant continuous color in summer gardens and is universally regarded as the gold standard for dried floral arrangements.
